Through its activities the Institute seeks to introduce and make effective common standards applicable to the diplomatic profession, which can be prepared junior and senior officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Introducing modern and systematic approach to their professional training, the Institute aims to preserve and transfer experience between generations of specialists, thus ensuring continuity in the diplomatic career.
Through its public and educational activities Diplomatic Institute strives to meet the high requirements and professional expectations deriving from the membership of Bulgaria in the European Union and NATO. This in turn requires the Bulgarian diplomacy perseverance, which enable it to take its rightful place as part of the diplomacy of the great Euro-Atlantic family.
